Hosting Virtual Events
In the event students or faculty need to meet or present virtually, there are various platforms. Below are three easy and common ways to gather online.
- Google Meet is available as part of the CU Google suite. Start a Google Meet at meet.google.com. Then click Join now and provide attendees with the meeting website address. You will need to approve them entering the room. Alternatively or in addition, you can add specific individuals by clicking Add people.
- Zoom is another option if you prefer. You can sign in using your CU Google account. Zoom meetings are limited to 40 minutes.
- Use a phone or iPad to record a video and upload it to your CU YouTube account. Directions.
