The full-time Administrative Assistant will support the Academic Affairs group at College Unbound (CU). Successful applicants will be mission-driven, detail oriented, collaborative, creative problem solvers who will thrive in the all hands on deck ethos of a higher education start up. This position reports to the Provost and will occasionally require evening work.

Learning in Public and Big 10 Support:
• Manage the tracking systems for submission, review, feedback, and credit-posting processes for LIP and Big 10 Portfolios.
• Process and track individual Big 10 Awards and mail Big 10 certificates to students.
• Follow up with assessors to ensure timely processing of LIP and Big 10 credits, as needed.
• Collect and compile data for the purpose of tracking and program review.
• Update LIP and Big 10 Portfolio pages in Digication (or other system), as needed.
• Manage database of LIP assessors, including documentation of their qualifications and LIP assessment history.
• Manage payment of LIP and Big 10 assessors.
• Provide additional administrative support as necessary to LIP coordinator/director, such as, arranging for meetings of advisory committees, scheduling trainings, recording meeting minutes, and creating “how to” guides for LIP/Big 10 administrative functions.

Faculty Support:
• Manage the calendar for the Director of Faculty Development and Instruction
• Manage the logistics of faculty and lab faculty meetings including recording meetings and taking notes
• Support semester related communications between faculty and students

• Create and manage tracking system for CU staff hardware
• Attend weekly Academic Affairs team meetings as well as CU Core staff meetings
• Other duties as assigned
• Bachelor Degree
• A minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience
• Excellent organization and task management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong computer skills
• Comfortable with Google Suite
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed including evenings

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience working in higher education or with adult learners
