"I was born and raised in Cabo Verde Islands. After high school I wasn’t able to afford my tuition to continue my education, in 2004 I decided to move to the US where I could work and go to school at the same time. After so many ups and downs and quitting twice from the same institution, I heard about College Unbound. I’ve never been more inspired to learn, grow, and do more in my life.
